Denise is inspired by the study of human behavior, specifically as it relates to the differences between the generations. Gen X and Gen Y do things differently. Social media has had an impact on the banking and payments industry and the generational differences play a major role in where things are headed. These are the trends that get Denise out of bed in the morning.
Denise has worked in the banking and payments industry for nearly 20 years with an emphasis on marketing. When social media first came on the scene, she found it intriguing which led to her starting a blog and networking in the start-ups realm. Denise is a professional coach and public speaker and in her spare time enjoys many forms of exercise.
Victoria is an active and engaged social media manager with a penchant for creating and curating content that makes people think. She started her career on the Web with Prodigy, then was one of the founding members of About.com before going on to work in marketing communications for Register.com and Sphere (an AOL properety). These days she has taken what she’s learned and helps business owners realize the potential of social media.
An avid writer in love with words, she spends her spare time with her dog, coaxing flowers from containers on her deck or trying out a new recipe for her friends.
Catherine worked as marketing and communications coordinator for an IT consulting firm. She ran their social media, wrote the newsletter and press releases, was responsible for a variety of special events, and secured and oversaw the co-marketing programs. She is also a proud graduate of the Profitecture Social Media Bootcamp.
Catherine has an M.Ed and extensive experience in Higher Education as a career advisor. She utilizes her experience from higher education to make her an effective coach. As a stereotypical “people person”, Catherine is known for making connections with people in the community both on and offline. When not tweeting, you can find her spending time with her young adult boys, kayaking, traveling, blogging or looking for new adventures.
Paul is a veteran technology journalist and a thought leader in online marketing. His award-winning 2007 book, The New Influencers, was one of the first to forecast the upheavals that social media would create in the relationships between business and customers. He has since written or co-authored three additional books about online communities: Secrets of Social Media Marketing (2008), Social Marketing to the Business Customer (2011) and Attack of the Customers (2013), an analysis of the new world of online crisis communications. Paul has also written more than 300 articles for social media-related publications and websites, including TechCrunch, Social Media Today, Advertising Age, Huffington Post and BtoB magazine, where he was a monthly columnist for seven years.
Previously, Paul was the founding editor of the online publisher TechTarget and editor-in-chief of the newsweekly Computerworld. He is a Senior Research Fellow and member of the board of directors at the Society for New Communications Research and the father of four children, including twin toddlers.
Paul is a seasoned software and information systems executive with more than 20 years of start-up, turnaround and strategy development experience. Along with a deep background in business, he has held executive level business and product development roles for leading software and SaaS developers in logistics, data security, cloud computing, ERP and social networking.
Additionally, Paul uses his extensive experience in developing venture backed technology firms and publicly traded software companies as a coach and advisor to start-ups and small businesses in the Chicago area. Paul has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University and resides in Chicago.
Zvi is part of the operations branch of Profitecture and possess nearly 30 years of diverse functions and business management experience. In addition, he is an expert in development and implementation of advanced training methods and tools.
Zvi is a former Major with the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). He holds an MBA in Management, International business and I.S. management from Loyola University Chicago, and a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Bill is a highly respected technology journalist that has created and managed the creation of award winning content exclusively for the IT management audience for more than three decades. Today, Bill is leading the content marketing programs with Profitecture. His customized programs leverage a team of veteran, expert technology writers, editors and designers to produce custom content in virtually all formats and media for IT vendors. Bill’s content marketing team also provides high-level content consulting, helping vendors properly align their content and their marketing direction with the needs of their target audience.
From 1986-1996 Bill was editor in chief of Computerworld, then the largest trade publication in the world. Under his leadership, the 105 person editorial staff won more than 90 independent awards for editorial excellence. Bill was a frequent keynote speaker at major user group meetings and industry trade shows, and contributed articles and opinion pieces to the major business press, including the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and Fortune.
Bill ran his own custom publishing firm, Bill Laberis Associates, from 1996-2007. During that time he counted as his client base virtually every first and most second tier IT vendor. In 2007 he rejoined Computerworld as SVP of Custom Publishing before leaving IDG in late 2015.
Bill is a graduate of Columbia University.
Mimi is a veteran of the software industry. While working at SAP/Campbell, she managed several retail accounts that include Gap Inc, Starbucks and Eddie Bauer. Mimi also lived in London and managed SAP/Campbell’s European client base from 1998-99. She is proficient in requirements analysis, integration testing, implementation and training.
Mimi has a passion for teaching and empowering others. She has personally been impacted by the positive power of social media and feels that it can change life and business for the better. When Mimi is not coaching for Profitecture, she coaches a boys running club, teaches at her local church and coaches her twin teenagers through life.
Sandy worked for a physician practices integrating their social media into their overall marketing plan. She is skilled in problem solving and process involvement. She is a natural coach, team player, and has the personality for motivating team members to get things done. She enjoys wellness endeavors and working on special projects.
Sandy is a board member of Safe Haven Humane Society and helps others utilize Facebook and Twitter to help people find connect lost and found pets with their owners. Sandy also uses social media to stay connected with personal training clients.
